Ash Vs. Evil Dead was a sure fire hit after season one, with Bruce Campbell really falling right back into the role. And with a dark, bloody and comical season already under its belt it was inevitable we were getting a season2- and now we have a trailer.

Ash Vs Evil Dead has been nothing short of greatly entertaining television and has been exactly what a revamp of this series should have been and needed to be. Its had oodles of cheesy Ash dialogue, lots of over the top blood bath violence, deadite craziness and violence but most importantly it had some great nostalgic nods. With that in mind here are my top 5 moments from the first season (Spoilers Abound).

Weekly Recommendation: Scream Queens

This weeks recommendation comes in the form of a little known television show that takes the teen horror genre and turns it completely upside down and acknowledges the entire infeasible actions these characters normally take into a funny mystery that features the death of a character each episode until the killer is finally revealed.

Short Thoughts: 16-22March ’15

This weeks television has been great- topped off by a wonderful episode of Powers on the PSN while also showcasing a brilliant episode of The Flash. Along side this we saw the launch of Mark Millars Chrononauts, and the return of a fan favourite to the story job on Amazing Spider-Man. Hers my breakdown of the weeks best bits.

Weekly Recommendation: Sex Criminals

This weeks recommendation is an independent comic book coming out of the juggernaut that is Image Comics, written by Matt FRaction and features art by Chip Zdarsky- and other than garnishing a huge amount of praise has also generated a huge amount of negative press for itself given its stories context and downright refusal to be censored. However there is much more to this book than controversy including an intriguing story, some great dialog and a reflection of how open the world current is towards sexuality through some seriously comedic moments and some strangely odd action sequences.

Wednesday is nearly upon us, and that can mean only one really good thing; It’s New Comic Book Day! This weeks doesn’t see a sleuth of new titles, but does still see some great titles getting their release. so let’s get straight into what I think are the most exciting books of the week.
