The Flash has been one of the top Comic Book based shows on television immediately since its debut, as it seemed to hit the ground running (pun intended) and knew that it had to be a fun, lively and colourful show that didn’t take itself to seriously. Arrow: What Harley Quinn means to the show

harleyquinnLast nights episode of Arrow (atleast in the UK) was entitled ‘Suicide Squad’ and aside from giving us the first real look at the afore mentioned squad in action, and officially naming ‘Deathstroke’ it also gave us a huge character that has massive implications for not only the show but the entire DC television universe in the form of Harley Quinn. Now we didnt get to see Harley last night, unfortunately, but we get too hear he ever so famous high Brooklyn voice drop a great line in a vital scene- and this single 10seconds may be one of the biggest changes to the television universe this season and heres why. First Look At Matt Ryan as John Constantine

With production underway on Constantine, NBC’s new pilot from executive producers Daniel Cerone & David S. Goyer and director Neil Marshall, NBC, Warner Bros. Television and DC Entertainment have released the first image of series star Matt Ryan in character as John Constantine.

“I’ve been a fan of John Constantine since he was first introduced in 1985. This Constantine, envisioned by Neil Marshall and embodied by Matt Ryan, looks like he sprang directly from the comics’ covers. Fans old and new are going to be in for a treat,” said executive producer David S. Goyer.

Constantine stars UK native Matt Ryan (Layer Cake, The Tudors, Torchwood) and follows enigmatic and irreverent Liverpool con-man-turned-occult-detective John Constantine, who is reluctantly thrust into the role of defending our world against dark forces from beyond.
