Warner Brothers has announced that the role of Aquaman in their Batman v. Superman motion picture is being filled by Game of Thrones actor, Jason Momoa.
Momoa, long rumored to have the part, remained coy about the casting during an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, although it’s now been made official in Variety. Momoa joins fellow heroes Henry Cavill (Kal El), Ben Affleck (Batman), and Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) in an increasingly large number of cast members including Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, and Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, and Diane Lane are reprising their roles from Man of Steel.
